Becoming a POSP is not a big deal at all. If you have that passion and right mind set, then you are almost there. But still there are some guidelines that has been set by IRDAI.
Let’s us walk you through the eligibility criteria that you need to quality to become a POSP.
You must be 18+ years old
In order to become a POSP, you must be at least 18 years old. Also you have to possess a matured person’s body language and communication skills.
Must have basic education
If you want to start a career as a POSP, then minimum education required is 10th certificate.
Must possess standard proofs mandated by IRDAI
For registration, you will need the below documents. All documents need to be self attested (signed by you)
PAN card
Aadhar card (Front & Back)
Class 10 or above pass certificate
A cancelled cheque or Bank Passbook (front page)
Photographs
Must attend an authorized training
Active participation in training is very important. You cannot pass through the process unless and until you have successfully completed the training process.
Pass the test conducted as per IRDAI guidelines
After your successful completion of your training, you will have a test to get through the process. This test should be conducted by IRDAI and you have to make sure you successfully pass this test.
Get certification
Once you clear this exam, you will sign the agreement and you will become the certified POS with us.
